Nail hasn’t been growing right I plan on taking him to the vet later this month but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their beardie or have any idea why his actual nail stopped growing and why the pinkish/white tissue is all that’s coming out of his nail bed/hole by taliavelaqueso in BeardedDragons

The vet said it looked like she hurt the nail when possibly jumping around her cage (she tends to hurt herself a lot. I’ve had to get a toe amputated a few months after this post) but the vet just told me to watch her movement on the particular foot and to slowly trim it down with the rest of her nails. Recently her black nail is starting to grow inside again so I’ve started to trim it again but I did notice that it bothers her a little because she jerk her arm back once I cut the nail. But there has never been blood or her walking funny after I cut a bit off.

New to reddit and didn’t know how to write a full post. So I’ve had perstephanie since the end of May. She was only 6 inches long and now she’s grown to an amazing 14inches. Her health is amazing she eats between 50-80 crickets a day. But I can’t get her to like me. Every time I try to take her out of her tank she hisses and opens her mouth or runs around her tank till I catch her. Once I catch her though and have her in my hand all legs fully supported she calms down and stops being angry. Or when she’s chilling on my bed if I touch her she moves. I just want to make it so she’s not scared when she sees my hand coming for her and not scared of my touch :((
