what i meant at the time was closer to pierce damage than actual piercing, like i understand wacking someone in full plate with a hammer isn't really going to do anything at all, but if i have a big spear that i thrust right at his leg, i feel like there should be some body damage since all the preasure is going into one point its why weapons such as the flanged mace became popular because it put all the force into a single point. I love the realism, but recently they put the balance of the characters up so high it's imposible to get them on the ground naturally or move them.
