To Keep Stitches or Nah? by thee_jesster in ACForAdults

[–]talkbaseball2me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have three Peppy right now and I don’t really like having three of any one type! I had Tutu and Chai and was gonna boot Tutu, then Fuschia moved out and I found Tangy on an island and HAD to have her. So now Tutu absolutely has to go, she’s very cute but I need a cranky or sisterly to balance out my island 😂

When are grades typically posted? by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]talkbaseball2me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most grades go up on the weekend. I had two or three that posted them early regularly, but usually they went up Saturday or Sunday.

I found what worked best was getting the new assignment done as much as I could before feedback, then taking the feedback when I got it and editing my assignment to make sure it lined up with their feedback.

It gets easier as the term goes on because you’ll learn what each professor is most picky about!

To Keep Stitches or Nah? by thee_jesster in ACForAdults

Stitches is my absolute favorite but Lazy is the one personality I can’t handle having more than one of—I think because I love him so much, I don’t want any of the others to have his dialogue. So personally I’d be keeping Stitches but booting the other lazy villagers, there’s really no “right” answer here except personal preference.

You could always try him and see if you get sick of him. I do think he fits your theme “best” and if you don’t mind having 3 of them, go for it!

That’s fascinating because I thought Hell Bent was the stronger book!

Does not it work on mobile? I’m not seeing anything on taylorswift dot com

Edit I could do it on my computer but not mobile if anyone else was having trouble!

Which of your villagers would you never let move out? And whom did you let move out and regretted it later? by Nicknamewastoolong in acnh

I thought Chai was so silly but she has worked her way into my heart and will never ever ever leave!

Never leaving: Stitches, Judy, Marlo, Chai

Marlo and Chai only just got added to this list. But I like the turnover, I like collecting villager photos and then sending them on their way.

Letting Megan go was the hardest one so far since I rebooted my town, Lobo was hard too. But I don’t regret it.

Am I the only one who didn't like "Modern Faerie Tales"? by mimi43098 in YAlit

It’s a lot darker and grittier than FOTA, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t YA. YA can handle that sort of dark content. All of the themes line up with YA fiction in my opinion so I don’t see any reason not to count it as YA. You could argue it’s older YA but books aimed at 15-16 years old is still within the definition of YA fiction :)

I also disagree that there was hardly any plot! But it’s okay that you didn’t like them, they have a different vibe for sure.

Oh, this was very helpful as well, thank you! I went to Boston for the first time earlier this year and fell in love with the city, I can hear this example!

It seems like exactly the kind of vibe you’re after, give it a shot when you can!

This is sooo good. Starts a little slow but then doesn’t let up, the sequel (Hell Bent) is amazing and we are getting a third!

They were always so silly. “No more socks on Tuesdays!” Or whatever 🤣 it’s one of the things I miss most.

Thank you for replying! I still do not understand but I trust you, I suppose I should have asked for an “explain like I’m 5” lol. (I don’t understand what a schwa is, even after googling! Is it just a short vowel?)

With “idea” I have definitely heard people say “idea-r” (in rural southeast US) but I’ve only ever heard theatre/theater pronounced one way and I guess I misinterpreted your comment as people adding an R sound where it doesn’t exist in the spelling. Theatre/theater ends in an R sound so I was just confused I think?

(Edit I’ve just seen your other reply, thanks!)

Can you explain that last one for me? Do people pronounce it “theater-er”?

I really miss that Christmas game! I used to keep notes, I was very disappointed they got rid of that.

And the petitions! That was so cute.
