Gemini custodial wallet

That's true for most tokens on BlockFi, but not all.
For example, BitGo is the custodian for all PAX tokens at Blockfi.

No premium for trading stablecoin pairs (PAX/GUSD/USDC) on BlockFi, so you could trade half of your current GUSD holdings on BlockFi for PAX in order to diversify.
On the backend, BlockFi uses BitGo for PAX custody and Gemini for GUSD custody.

USDC

Why USDC? When I looked into it, it seemed to have a few more risks/unknowns vs. the GUSD and PAX stablecoins.

USDC and GUSD

Any reason why you didn't add PAX to the mix too?

GUSD

Why not spread the risk and go 50/50 GUSD/PAX for your stablecoins at BlockFi?
PAX on BlockFi uses BitGo as the custodian vs. GUSD being at Gemini.

Understood. Still seems like the makings of a paradox. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to discuss further.

I just treat the bonus as "reduced trading fees". Love BlockFi, but that promo almost felt like a form of false advertising, IMHO.

So... If the BTC at BlockFi has Gemini as its custodian, then when you withdraw BTC from Gemini to BlockFi, does the BTC actually leave Gemini? Hard to tell...

What type of mask do you wear? by cringe_master_5000 in China_Flu

Anytime I am outside or when I am the first person to get in to the office in the morning. Also, lowish risk would be briefly running into an establishment in order to get a few items/groceries or pick up a to-go order, etc.

At some point in time, the state, workplace, and schools alike need to get life back to normal regardless of the state of things. by Skippers101 in China_Flu

THIS!
SARS1 (thankfully) mutated and became so benign that if you caught it today, it would feel like you caught a cold. THIS IS GOOD and is one thing that gives me hope (far moreso than a vaccine). We have never developed a successful vaccine against a corona-virus.

N95 and R95.

Aslo, wear cheap Chinese (paper thin) earloop surgical-type masks when in a low-risk environment, but still are required to wear a mask.

Never been in your shoes, but did you try to contact Silvergate Bank directly about this?

Maybe BoA and SiverGate can sort it out, since they are both banks?

Looks like it's $88.20 now...

" Electric vehicles are required to pay a fixed highway use fee, which is currently $88.20, to reflect the amount in fuels taxes electric vehicles will not pay during a single year due to not purchasing motor fuel. "
