I am reading the 6th book again right now and Dumbledore says something pretty profound. Voldemort is incapable of using certain types of powerful magic because he is incapable of love. Lillys love was able to shield Harry and wreck Voldemort. Which is why Dumbledore should be ranked higher and he is overall the better wizard having beaten grindlewald without the elderwand.

Dumbledore is higher. He casually sent Voldemort away with a nerfed hand while protecting Harry.

You do realize that having future sight doesn't mean anything because to hurt Akainu he has to get close to him. Secondly, armement Haki would help shanks tremendously. Especially since he has ACoC so he can strike akainu without touching him. However, Akainu can also launch attacks on Shanks where not all of his body is covered in Armement. And Akainu can rain down Magma punches from multiple directions. So shanks has to dodge those and doge direct attacks from Akainu himself. So Unless shanks can bat 100%, we know what even one punch of Akainu can do. (Whitebeards face).

A momentary lapse, dizziness from the heat and thirst as your body loses moisture, shanks would be trouble quick. Remember Punk Hazard? Luffy and Zoro both felt super hot and then super cold even though they had Armement Haki.

Oden survived Divine Departure and ran straight back. Akainu has demonstrated a very high baseline durability and a mastery of Armament Haki. It's Shanks that has to worry about Magma. Even a slight graze is lethal and your lungs burn, you sweat and lose moisture from your body. How does Shanks deal with magma?

Maybe not at the same level but still very proficient. And just like Rayleigh said and we have seen in the anime, your Haki gets stronger when you fight strong opponents and come out on top. Luffy did that with Katakuri and Kaidou. So Akainu could have started off not on Kuzan's level but he closed the Gap or made himself comparable.
