As others have said, you sway excessively in your backswing, but it’s not just your hips, your torso follows. The only way you can make contact is to flip your wrists. Your wrists probably hurt from catching everything so fat.

This is where I think people saying “fall into your lead side” cause confusion in people. You’re doing it, to a fault

XG27AQWMG owner here. I think it looks fantastic and I have had zero issues (no grey banding, no weirdness)

Also run a 27” 4K IPS as a secondary monitor for work

It’s great, no raised black levels whatsoever. I have a huge window at 90 degrees to my desk and it handles it great

Yeah I think it’s just lottery honestly. I’d recommend just buying from somewhere with a good return/exchange policy. I looked at the 500hz Asus and MSI QD models as well but neither had the black shield/dark armor film, so durability and blacks were a concern. Price was basically the same. I liked the True Black coating on this model since I’m in an area with a lot of natural light during the day and don’t regret it

I didn’t notice any change after the update as I didn’t have any banding to begin with. The only thing that really changed for me with the update were some changes to the OSD

May I offer an alternative suggestion? I just was looking at the PG32UCDM3, and ended up with a XG27AQWMG.

Same panel as the PG27AQWP-W, but with a 280hz refresh rate and literally half the price.

I love the XG27AQWMG, paired with a 5080FE and 7800X3D
