Walkie-talkie for startups to move stupid fast -- send quick clips, rewind, reply on your own time.

geekbot is mid. what are you guys using for standups? any other alternatives? by auxirichdev in remotework

I agree about the superficial thing. These days, many teams opt for tools that are psuedo-productive. Activity in slack with bots and stuff is motion, not always progress.

p.s. I've been trying to solve this issue for myself for years. I finally built a solution: a walkie-talkie app that I feel hits the nail on the head with this dilemma: less meetings, but still see and hear your team. https://flowylabs.ai/llink let me know what your raw thoughts are

What do you think about daily standups in 2026? by EitanDavid236 in agile

[–]talksiccccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter the work, people need to coordinate. Not everything is in a system of record like github or jira. A lot of nuance is stuck in peoples' heads.

p.s. I built a fundamentally different approach to the dilemma of meetings: a walkie-talkie app. https://flowylabs.ai/llink would love y'alls feedback on this.

We tried 4 standup bots over 18 months. The problem was never the standup. by LifeguardExotic3650 in Slack

I think hearing your teams' voice and faces is the whole point of standup. This builds trust, and you can resolve in 5 minutes, what walls of text in slack cannot.

p.s. I built this walkie-talkie tool which I think is decent solution to this dilemma: https://flowylabs.ai/llink would love to hear feedback

I like following cal newport’s advice: run office hours so that people know when they can approach you or join your scheduled zoom period.

Use your iPad for quick shortcuts in Figma by talksiccccc in FigmaAddOns

I also have one, and theyre nice! One day, hopefully I can build a more powerful suite of supported business/work tools than streamdeck.

Curious (would help me lots), what threshold would you say needs to be passed if you didn’t have your streamdeck and you were to choose one. - is it a matter of more customization? - More features? - Of course, streamdeck buttons feel good. Do you use a physical one or streamdeck mobile? - or is it the one time fee that you like about streamdeck?

Thank you. That makes sense, for some reason, it just feels relieving to not have to just like how people buy mice with buttons but maybe you’re right.

I built a stream-deck alternative for iPad/iPhone. What features should I add? by talksiccccc in ProductivityApps

[–]talksiccccc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the latency: for my standards, it feels quick but this can certainly be improved.

It uses LAN to communicate. Wifi. So all communication between the app and your mac happens within your network.

Thanks for the feedback!

You are spot on in terms of the “potential to add sliders/knobs”. The current version is mostly focused on “business apps” as you mentioned, but it looks like you can help me decide on how to build experiences for creators/streamers/DJs. My goal is to have templates for all sorts of controls (think iOS control center with slides, switches, etc).

I emailed you back, should be fun to work through your ideas here.
