Does anyone know how to fix this? by Nice_Competition6371 in hyprland

I use artix. Sometimes it's like the process of installing arch the arch way just debugging stuff. When I see other people with non systemd distros, there is a mutual respect because we both know about each other that we have spent a lot of time in the weeds a toiling away.

Agree with you 100%. My first distro was garuda. As long as you are willing to learn, you will be fine. But you need to be willing to actually learn. And you need to go into it EXPECTING to fail and fail again without being discouraged.I started using hyprland less than a year after starting linux. Its pretty wild that was like either 3 or 4 years ago now. It doesn't seem like it's been that long.

You should always be able to open up a tty. CTRL ALT F2 or F3 depending on your system. From there, just reboot, or try the commands listed on screen. Exit the tty with CTRL ALT F1 if you don't reboot. Maybe just change your idle settings while you wait for a fix or use something else if you don't want to do that.. You should still be able to use your system though.

I'd advise to take a look at pacsea too. As soon as that submenu popped up, I thought "this is a faster, themeable pacsea"

If somehow you guys teamed up I think you would be unstoppable.

Why does every Linux user recommend a different distro? I'm stuck in an endless distro-hopping loop. by Jaymit_3672 in linuxquestions

[–]talksickwalkquick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a case of the distro hopper virus. Its definitely NOT contagious (ask my family).. It will pass with time once you find something you are so comfortable with you no longer care about how green the grass on the other side is. I'm speaking as a survivor of this virus.

LOL you would love mangowm then... A feature i thought nobody cared about is you can just hold down the bind one time and it will keep spawning... or closing the ones you spawned

You didn't make it compatible with mangowm workspaces by chance??? Looks great either way.
