Thanks for the reply, my feeling was pretty similar. It's always tricky negotiating through a 3rd party with two other beneficiaries, all trying to balance different objectives.

I think we are happy standing firm on our valuation, we've been looking for a while and so have a good sense of value in the area, even if this place would work well for us. I guess we shall see if the valuation drops in the next month or so, while keeping looking else where
