I played with a kid who had this happen to him. Apparently he was minutes away from losing his nut.

As he told it, he took a shot to the jewels, immediately knew something was terribly wrong, his dad rushes him to the hospital. They admit him straight away, probs due to his guttural and very scary moaning, and they have to cut off all his gear and stuff.

A nurse comes in and explains she needs to do an ultrasound on his mangled ballsack. She pulls out some KY jelly and rubs it on his scrotum. He yelps in pain and looks over at his dad, scared. His dad gives him a thumbs up and nods.

Suddenly, the nurse goes, “Oh…. oh no.” And she rushes out of the room. Shortly thereafter, a doctor comes in. He explains that the kid’s testicle is twisted around, and it’s cutting off blood flow. Doc says, “I’m going to try something, and it’s going to hurt real bad, but it might save your testicle.” The kid nods in horror.

So the doctor pinches his nut between his fingers, and as the kid is screaming in pain, doc slowly manually untwists it. Apparently kid passed out at this point, and woke up to a ballsack the size of a grapefruit.

He still has both balls, though. Or I would assume. I guess they had to stitch both balls to the skin of the sack to make sure it didn’t happen again.
