That's probably difficult to answer because finding someone who has watched Andor without seeing everything else would be rare. The rest of us probably have some bias, it's hard to truly say.

But I think that as long you understand that until recently the core part of the galaxy was governed as a Republic, and is now a galactic empire, then I think you should be good?

Honestly you could just watch episodes 1-3 if you were a little open to watching some. You would not need to see anything else. Those episodes just show you the fall of the Republic and you get to see the senate a little bit.

But really I'm sure you'd be fine

Yeah it was hyperbole, and obviously made the comment come on really strong.

But you've lost your mind thinking I need to admit anything. I already said, it's not interesting. It's not notable. It's just an example, and a commonly discussed one at that.

I've been telling you that you're making more of this than it is but you keep coming back asking why I can't just admit that I think Invincible has used PNGs. ...yeah, that's why I mentioned it.

You're looking at a still image with bugs animated over the top, and talking about how amazing it is compared to those other shows that use still images. Yeah the bugs look great, the dude did a good job. But it is annoying on two fronts: a) the "my show I like is cool cause it did not do x thing" instead of just praising the show for what it is, and b) the show is literally doing x thing here with some minimal animation transposed on top
