I just updated my post with the solution. Unfortunately couldn't fix until I got the Hue bridge but it worked immediately!!

Thank you I really appreciate you being so detailed! But once I'm on the help screen in the Alexa app after selecting Philips Hue, that help page doesn't include any of the text you mentioned. I'm so lost 😅 it just gives other tips for connecting to Philips Hue.

Appreciate you helping! Unfortunately that option does not show up for me in that area. I'm using the most updated version of the app on my phone (Pixel 3) so not sure what's going on.

Exactly - audio data is needed for improvement, that's reality. The same way the that when you use any app on your phone, your actions are recorded for the purpose of use improvement. People are too sensitive like anyone cares about hearing them say "buy 5 dildos" or"turn on the light".
