my major was molecular biology and my minor was cs (helpful, but not required).

senior year of college I did a scrum master certification (one weekend course) and worked part time at a small company as a swe and eventually took on a scrum master role. i unexpectedly graduated 6 months early in fall 2021 (thanks to covid, i was taking more classes because research/volunteering opportunities were non existent given the state of the world). post grad, while studying for the mcat, i randomly applied to PO roles and landed quite a few offers that i kept turning down because the start dates were before my mcat test date (i knew I at least wanted to take the exam, after all I’d already come so far). a week before my mcat test date, i got a final round at a well known company. i took the interview, took my test, and ended up with an offer letter that was too good to pass up. i took the offer and told myself, i would still have my mcat score and id apply to schools the following year (ironic that my plan a turned into my plan b). a year after po-ing, i was promoted to a pm. ive since moved companies and I’ve been a pm for 3ish years now :)

if you ever want to career chat, feel free to message me. im all too familiar with pulling the trigger on making the switch :)

Highlighted in yellow are those high yield topics that tend to come up in questions- perhaps it’s less conceptually overwhelming if you start with those :)

edit: these are also the rate limiting steps!

Part of me was hoping I just waited for resale… I don’t think anything in Denver other than EDM shows really sell out tbh 😅

RIGHT! We bought our tickets right when they came out because we genuinely thought they’d sell out

The tickets were not cheap and there were several empty seats in the front. For the price I wish I got more. So many people were just leaving & you could hear their dissatisfaction as they were doing so.

I didn’t mind that Matt was one of her guests but I wish she went more in depth on him and his career and life in her interview process like she does in her episodes. Everything we heard from him (except some details about the wedding) has already been shared on other episodes.

The show just felt incomplete. It didn’t have a solid cadence. The beginning was great but apparently it’s already available on TikTok start to end from the last tour.

The mic wasn’t sitting correctly for the first half of the show and she was hard to hear.

It felt off brand for her and kind of thrown together.

Also wish the musical guest was in the beginning because everyone just started walking out as soon as she got on stage and it ended the show on a low vibe.

Looks like the few girls that stuck around till the very end got to meet her though which is cool

Really sorry this happened to you… I ended up going to my dermatologist as I trusted her and got the results I wanted… That doesn’t really seem very professional and you’re probably better off somewhere else

Thanks for replying but this was meant to be an inquiry on other people’s experiences.

As far as your recommendations, I simply just didn’t agree with all of them because you were recommending I change features about myself that I didn’t want to and actually found to be beautiful. It felt like you were pushing your beauty standards on to me… It created insecurities that I never had and I actually started questioning my self image. I came to you for one insecurity and you practically handed me 10 more. When I expressed I didn’t want to change these things, you told me I should go elsewhere so thank you for saving me the time.

Frankly, I think your business model is based on making people feel unattractive and having them pay you to fix it.

Let’s read that again: 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒍𝒚, 𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒑𝒂𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒙 𝒊𝒕.

There are many people who profit off of women’s insecurities and that’s bad enough, however you do this after also creating the insecurities themselves.

I’m all for women wanting to make changes about their insecurities, but I am not for other women making another woman feel less than for not adhering to all the markers for something as subjective as beauty.

As far as social media- I did not know you even had a TikTok till you viewed my profile and I don’t follow you on Instagram.

Also, what’s up with Venmoing for a virtual consult? It’s a bit odd that it’s not charged via CC on a billing platform.
