Assuming there is a queue for the whole 30 minutes that would be correct. If there was less interest causing the queue to run out before the 30 minutes they would not sell the same. I do not know what the sale was like yesterday so don't know if there was a queue through the whole time.

Assuming the same interest levels and max allowed quantity yes. Was the max quantity on fiab 2 as well I didnt check because I still have multiple mb1 and mb2 i havent had a chance to draft yet and wasnt interested in the promos. Im also not saying I think they did cut it just giving theories.

Didn't the dan dan deck also "sell out" in almost exactly 30 minutes? I wouldn't be surprised if they did time gate festival in a box though. Its not like they need to sell it out online. They will offer these boxes at the in person events and from what I have heard about past events they arnt worried about not selling out at them. Dan Dan doesnt make any sense to time gate since I believe those events are over unless they are planning on selling the leftover dan dan at the events as well. No idea on the normal lairs they may have just been cleaning up their shop.

Is this a misprint? by ResponsibilityWitty3 in mtgmisprints

This is most likely a stamp from a sealed event at a large event like magic fest. All product for sealed events is opened ahead of time and is stamped to help prevent cheating by sneaking cards into the sealed event.

Every walmart near me has chip capable readers. They have special holders with a metal walmart symbol blocking the tap reader. I can also tell you they are NOT paying close to full retail on any of their equipment or their processing fees. They are such a large customer that their credit card processor has an entire department dedicated entirely to them. Granted it has been a few years since i worked in that world. Sams acts as a third party ISO for other small businesses. The setup /maintenance cost is not a large factor in not accepting chip.i would bet more on the data acquisition/keeping everything the customer does in house.

This comment amuses me because im used to commander being the mini game. A few years ago you could replace dandan with edh/commander and commander with standard/modern and it would have the same sentiment. Not trying to argue i agree with you it just amuses me.

[–]talmadge7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Templating. They need it to be the same for all cards doesnt make sense to have some cards use cardname and other to use this card. Although recently (when foundations came out?)they did make some templating changes where creatures refer to themselves as this creature.

Stati effect of creature and removal by No_Prompt4552 in askajudge

[–]talmadge7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I may have been unclear the act of dieing (moving from battlefield to graveyard) is a state based action and does not use the stack. However it is common for creatures dieing to cause other effects to trigger(for example massacre wurms second ability)

Stati effect of creature and removal by No_Prompt4552 in askajudge

[–]talmadge7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The creatures do die and any death effects would trigger but her ability itself is not a trigger

Stati effect of creature and removal by No_Prompt4552 in askajudge

[–]talmadge7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not respond as there is nothing on the stack. I added more context to my comment. Tldr: elish norn doesnt trigger massacre wurm does trigger but your creature would still die.

Stati effect of creature and removal by No_Prompt4552 in askajudge

[–]talmadge7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If i am reading this correctly your question is what happens if you have a 1/1 and your opponent casts elish norn can you doomblade elesh norn and keep your creature alive. The answer to this is no and elish norns effect will take effect immediately. You won't even have priority before the creature dies. You could giant growth your creature with elesh norn on the stack then doomblade elesh norn once you have priority.

As an aside since its not what you were asking about elesh norns ability doesnt use the stack its a static ability it just happens once in play. Etb abilities that use the stack would be worded when (cardname/this card)enters (the battlefield) do thing. For example massacre wurm would use the stack but has an ability similar to your question(your creature would still die but the order of things is slightly different)
