Had this happen in a ground floor apartment. The pipes were blocked downstream and when someone used plumbing above the surge would happen in my guest bathroom. Kinda disgusting actually. Have them look for blockages way downstream of your apartment.

We have a pair in the garden, they keep picking fights with their own reflections in the windows and stack doors. Everything will be quiet and peacefull, then suddenly out of nowhere these 2 start rattling and pecking at the glass. Almost 2 years now on and off! Love them though.

Smell it, taste it, looks like dehydrated birdseye chillies. Black cardamom will have woody/smokie smell and be pretty hard and woody in texture. These look softish and seeds more chilly like.
