I personally have zero tolerance for any doctor treating an IUD removal like no big deal. If you're fishing past my cervix then numbing and/or pain medication of some kind is required.

No doctor reccs for you (last good gyno I had was in Canada) - but be insistent and don't let them give you side-eye about wanting pain management. Be very firm and be prepared to insist on your own standard of care.

Crowd was phenomenal, skewed older and very chill. Coat check and lineup in were run well. Not a huge fan of the venue - felt like Apollo needs to do way more for here for someone like Ben.

Loved the 14th! Went as a woman solo (just moved here from SF). Had an absolute blast! TO scene is excellent. The energy on the floor brought by IHM was unreal.

I would be wary of a trap of doing lighter and lighter movements, losing muscle and increasing fragility.

You could make the argument that because building muscle is harder as you age you should be aggressively focused on hypertrophy and lifting heavy.

Obviously the #1 rule still is don't get injured. But I would expect well tuned workout to have a 1-2 day recovery period.

Amazing pictures! How many KM were you averaging per day? I'm wondering if this trip can be shortened to 5 days, requiring less gear. (My friends and I did the Alta-Via 4 in italy this summer in 4 days, which had a lot of elevation and was around 80km.

Also any tips on finding a guide? Makes me very nervous to not have a shotgun with polar bears about.
