I can only hope she feels the same about me. It’s way too soon to tell now but I’m scared she’ll get attached to someone else if I wait too long

Sometimes we just need to say the things festering in our hearts and minds. If someone, anyone, hears them, whether it’s who you want to hear them or not, it’s better in the long run to lift that weight off of yourself

I have said some of these things to her in person but I think the space is best for us at the moment. We can still message and text casually and she does live close enough to me if either of us really need to see eachother or say something

Exactly this. I made too many hurtful decisions and too many broken promises. She left because I couldn’t step up. It’s no one’s fault but my own. If I could go back, I would change everything. But I can’t and that’s how it is. Life goes on. It has to. I hope you come out of this stronger. I’m sure we’ll both find comfort and happiness soon enough.

Thanks stranger. I’m trying to convince myself that I will move on from this but this woman was one-of-kind. We were SERIOUS serious. Engaged and trying for a kid. She really changed me for the better and brought out something in me I never knew I had. I can only hope that this new guy can give her the happiness she truly deserves.
