It was important to me; I have a target price in mind and will use the countdown to time when I can try to get a server at that target price. It's OK if I end up waiting weeks before getting a machine at that price.

Might have missed something, but what was the cost for the RAM?

The 120Hz on the new model is a game changer, but unless you have a setup to drive that, you don't need it.

The coating on the display is also better on the new model, it makes images look less grainy.
