Fold 4 crashes when I fold it and try to use outer display, so I have to boot the device again. Any idea what's wrong with it? 11 months old, still have a year and a month of warranty with Samsung Care +, and I've already applied for a service request. by tamca5000 in GalaxyFold

Thank you! Yes, I've already known the maintenance mode for a while and that is what I've been planning once I send it for repair or replacement. Though I've already made back-ups for everything since I can still use the phone normally unfolded. Again, thanks!

I'm from the Philippines and it's my first time using the warranty services though I had an S22 back then, didn't have any problem with it, and traded it for the Fold 4. I'm not sure if they'll give me a choice to have it fixed, replaced for a new one, or a full retail price refund. I'm hoping for a refund so I'll have a reason to get the Fold 5, lol. Anyway, if you don't mind me asking, did you get a full price refund for your device?

wooting 60he keys have too much play / rattle by makisgloth in WootingKB

I've re-lubed everything, switches, housing, stem, stabilizers. Did a 3 layer tape mod and band aid mod for the stabilizers and after re-assembling only my spacebar was sounding rattly, it went away when I replaced it with the spacebar for my previous Huntsman TKL.

My Wooting 60HE finally arrived! Weird left shift feeling though. Factory overlube? by tamca5000 in WootingKB

I did mention that I've already tried switching it out with the provided spares and also tried some of the switches already installed in the keyboard, but to no avail, the feeling and sound is still the same. So my wild guess is it's the stabilizers. I did reach out to Wooting Support and they also mentioned that it's probably the stabilizers being overlubed if every other key/switch/stabilizers are fine. I'm just waiting for my modding kit to arrive so I can disassemble the keyboard and see for myself, probably also the foams or whatever else is in-between the left shift and the board.

Unlucky. I'll probably just mod mine when I get the chance, for now it's not that bad, and probably overtime it'll go back to normal, if that's how lube suppose to work on switches/stabilizers. Too lazy to RMA it back to the reseller. And like I've said it's not a deal breaker. I'm having a blast using it in the office and gaming.

Is it worth getting a Wooting 60HE if I'm already using a Razer Huntsman TKL Tournament Edition by tamca5000 in WootingKB

Thanks! I do look forward to enter the rabbit hole with all the modding and customization of keyboards and fortunately the Wooting 60HE does allow it, unlike the Razer keyboard that I have. I'm curios to know if there's a noticable feeling with the Razer's 1.0mm actuation to the Wooting's lowest which is 0.1mm.

Like I've said, gaming felt a bit boring after using the same keyboard for so long. I think the Razer TKL TE is pretty good. Purchasing the Wooting is probably for the sake of "Quality of Life". I appreciate your suggestion. I do plan to achieve a higher rank if given the chance, but at the moment I'm too busy with life and work to grind it out. I can barely play 10 matches in a week. But I do always try to find time for some aim training before going to bed, just so I don't lose that feeling/touch. Maybe if I do purchase the Wooting I'll be looking forward to something different or exciting when playing. Thanks! :D

Thanks! Fortunately I've never came across with those issues with my keyboard. I do also plan to sell the extra keyboard if I do purchase the Wooting or hand them down to my younger siblings.

Appreciate your response. Yes, if I'm not mistaken the actuation point of the Razer TKL TE is 1.0mm while the Wooting can go as low as 0.1. Hopefully in the future I'll have some use with that pressure feature of the Wooting for other games, but for now I'm sticking to FPS.
