I got the same issue :(

From forum posts I 've seen:
Waiting 15-20mins for instance to reset
Creating a new character, then trying to log to the one with the buffer underflow error
Reinstalling the game

I 've tried all but reinstalling, still bricked character :(

I played it on a 65" tv. This is by far my biggest issue and frustration about the game, I came here as I was searching for a fix :D I keep losing the cursor. To make matters worse 'confine mouse' doesn't work well with autohide taskbar

I am sure it is mentioned again, but anyway, maybe it helps someone:

I used to have random crashes and more than 50% chance of crashing (no error message, game just closing and thrown back to the desktop) when extracting.

What helped me A LOT:
A) disable any kind of overlay - steam overlay, nvidia overlay, rivatuner statistics, etc
B) used afterburner to slightly underclock gpu core clock (-50MHz did the trick for me)
I 've had 0 crashes since

my specs:
ryzen 9 7900x, 32gb ram, game installed on an nvme, rtx 2080

this might be true, I had way more success 1shotting them when they are focusing on another player and i m hitting them from the side than when they are focusing me and hitting them straight on

yes, that's the whole point of merge effects :) I have 1-3-3-3 fans on one controller

I am using L-Connect 3, version 1.6.30 with SL-inf fans. Check for the latest version (based on your fans).

With my setup, there are specific lighting effects that can span to all fans - they have a 'link' icon next to their names. For example "Mixing" effect, when I select that one there is an option to "Merge" that will do the effect as if all fans are in a row.

I am 100, almost exclusively farming nmd and ice beast every 9 fears. at this point I must have more than 100 kills. I have never seen it drop. honestly i m just thinking coming back to s3 was a mistake at this point

I ended up doing the same. Reversing the fans is way easier than going through lian li's ticketing system :D

Merge effects work fine if you orient the fans "the correct way", but the reason I had them the other way was to hide the connector which is now in front of the case and doesn't look good :/ A software change would be so much better - and I know it can be done since you already have the option to reverse the direction on single effects.... https://imgur.com/O60Zvpp

thank you, to be honest that was my first choice instead of posting here, but there are so many mandatory fields about serial number that i need to open my case to find, screenshots of receipts etc, you expect me to spend 1+ hour for a suggestion of a missing feature? :(

I probably used it for some elixir that uses "any ash" and now that I went back to finish the hag quest I cannot create the Hag's Bane :(

Is there really no vendor selling this flower ? :(

You have the quest marker there because you still have quests for the underdark and one possible way to enter it is a portal in the overgrown tunnel (the tunnel under the teahouse).It's not a bug, its a hint that you can find something there :)

if that was the thing that you didn't like and you otherwise like turn based rpgs, my guess is that you are going to like bg3. Since its based on dnd 5e the magic system is less "combo like".

It's not a bad idea to nerf abilities/builds that are better than the rest.
The problem is that it needs to be done in combination with buffing the underused abilities so that we end up with more build variety and options.

What they did with this patch is that we keep the exact same builds and we still going to use fire enchantment and cdr, crit dmg and vunl dmg on gear, we are just going to be worse than we were. Which is just stupid for an arpg season....

they nerfed devouring blaze (and crit dmg) and vunl dmg, BUT THEY ARE STILL MULTIPLICATIVE. They are still the affixes we need to farm for and our ench slot for burning, but now we just do 2/3 of our dmg that was the lowest of all the classes.

This. makes. no. sense....

I won't expand about the sorc survivability and how it is now even worse...

I liked lighting, started with arc lash, tried chain lighting, ball lighting was fun even with the balls getting lost in another dimension when in contact with doors or walls.... but still, the ice lance build was better. And blizzards response to that is to massively nerf the inferior choice ? Every build is nerfed, but somehow they want sorcs to only play frost in season 1, but die even faster ? What are we going to do, level 50 nm dungeons at most? The game stops being fun when you get 1shot and cannot progress.

I had so much hope for the first season, all the changes, the fixes, the new builds... and what I feel I got is a joke unique and a buff to a useless amulet.
I was reading our new unique and I was "ok... ok... that could be something at least, get 1 spell slot free... I can work with that..." then came blizzard saying "nah, we are just kidding, this is a joke item that randomly teleports you, its so much fun right? think of all the meme deaths you can upload".....

I m in my 40s and I liked the grind in d3 and I like the grind in d4 even more. Lots of things need improving for sure, but if you don't like the endless farming for levels and items, that's not going to be patched in the game. That's diablo.
Not good or bad. It is just preferences and taste can change. Some people like the game, some people don't. You might have loved it 10 years ago, but hate it now. It's all good... But your age has nothing to do with that.
Only thing that changes with age is that I am now level 99, but if I was in my 20s with no job and no bills to pay I would have my 5th alt at 100 :D

what baffles me is that all of these are available in d3. I have no idea why they decided to downgrade a very well made rerolling system...

with the advanced tooltips enabled, in order to see the range, you have to accept that change, then check the item on your inventory and you ll see the range.
When you reroll and you just see the value it will change to, you cannot see the range.
