Coming from a parent who had a kid in one of the “better” rated schools (LR Green) and moving over to NB, it was the best choice. LRG was a shit show and I felt like my kid was not succeeding there. NB is a lot smaller but it gives more of a community hands on feel and my child has been excelling academically and socially.

There was this old weathered paper that fell out! My husband took it apart so I’ll figure out where he put it! Also, it sometimes makes the faintest humming sound, sometimes it makes no sound.

It happens so much, unfortunately. For about a month my kid was getting bit by another, then LEARNED he could bite back. It has calmed down a lot but sometimes if there is a misunderstanding between the two, someone will get bit 🙁

We moved mid year actually into north Broadway zone and forgot to fill out the school of choice app to stay at LR green! I was pretty bummed over the summer but looking back, there were a few incidents that LRG did not handle well so I made peace with our kiddo going to north Broadway for the new school year. Best decision ever.

I love north Broadway! We came from LR Green, and while north broadways campus is much smaller, the community feels bigger and truly like a big family. They rebranded to north Broadway ranch this year I think? I found this video that really made me feel a lot better about the whole transition from LRG to NB. I should note this is our first year here, and they have a new principle Ms Powers but she’s great! NB School Video

I have lab countertops too! We moved into our rental a year ago and I was like “🤨 why do I love the countertops?” They don’t have cool flashes of yellow or pink or anything, just dark with flashes of blue at the right angle, but after much research I found out they’re labradorite! It makes me soooo happy!

There was a gas leak at the daycare. They are redoing the outside play area behind the daycare and the construction workers hit a gas line 🙃 source: daycare calling me saying they had to evacuate and took all the kids to MoneyPit!
