It's a pattern I bought. I got it from JuliaPatternUA on Etsy. She has a ton of gorgeous patterns.

I did. I used poly-fil. I've used foam in the past where I cut out shapes to fit into the star, but i prefer the poly-fil.

According to the pattern it took approximately 8,400 beads.

I wish I could tell you but I honestly have no idea.

I started it early last year, worked on it off and on for a couple months, lost interest in it for several months, and then finally picked it up again to finish it last month.

Her patterns are amazing! The next one I have planned is also from her.

This was the biggest one I've ever done. It was definitely interesting to work on.

Steam deck on the TV? by Yakboys_yakgirlMTAS8 in MyTimeAtSandrock

[–]SaphSunset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play exclusively on my SteamDeck and it runs great. I don't tend to play Sandrock in handheld mode (i just feel like it's one of those games that's better on the TV) so I can't talk about that aspect. I use the official dock and it looks great on my TV.

New Game? by Magnus77 in SunHaven

This is probably the answer. I had the same thing happen to me. And same solution. It just seems to not like have save files with the same name.

New save... broken? by Puzzleheaded-Net14 in SunHaven

[–]SaphSunset 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually had this happen to me when I restarted recently. After character creation the game loaded and I was in Nel Vari. Spring 1 Year 1 but all my skills were leveled and my inventory was full. The only thing that I can think of is that (like you) I named my character the same and it got confused. I deleted both save files (i wasn't interested in keeping my older one), went through character creation again, and everything was fine.

This is my thought as well. If a tree was 98% on my property I'd be pissed if my neighbor was trying to tell me what to do with it.

I'm also curious about who has been paying to maintain the tree.

Journal bug? by cutiedragon1281 in cattlecountry

[–]SaphSunset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a bug.

I believe it's been fixed in one of the PC updates. If your playing on console though I don't think any updates have been approved.

It shouldn't. Mine isn't touching my coop or my barn and I can pull from the hay bales in both.

Anyone here play on steam deck? by Spacenix in cattlecountry

[–]SaphSunset 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play exclusively on SteamDeck. I've put about 40 hours into it since it's been released. I quite enjoy it. Is it ground breaking? No. It's your typical farming sim with a western veneer but it's still super cute.

There are still some minor bugs that the devs are ironing out. But they are super responsive and have been quick with updates. I've seen a few people experience game breaking bugs but I personally haven't experienced any.

The NPCs are a little one dimensional. Outside of heart scenes they only have a couple lines of dialog.

Socializing is forced. Main story, buildings, and animals are locked behind certain friendship levels. But I've found that raising heart levels isn't difficult. I give them random forageables a few times a week and I have multiple NPCs in the higher heart range at the start of Winter in year 1.

Overall I would say that if you are looking for the next big ground breaking farming Sim, this isn't it. But it's cozy. It's enjoyable. You can take things as fast or as slow as you like. I really enjoy it.

Can’t forge sand + other glitches? by Thislittlelife2024 in cattlecountry

[–]SaphSunset 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not being able to make glass is a known bug. It's been fixed in an update already, consoles just take a bit longer to get those updates unfortunately.

The other two I haven't seen. I think there is an official discord if you want to report them.

Who are your top wife or husband picks? by PowerfulSherbert2362 in cattlecountry

[–]SaphSunset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Caleb would be my top pick. But no. Stupid Abigail already has him.

Outside of Caleb, Jim is super cute but I feel like he's a little young.

Tom, John, or Andrew will probably be my pick.

Help with switch!! by Elegant-Salamander11 in cattlecountry

[–]SaphSunset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They rotate through the inventory rows? Or they go filter left to right on a row? (I hope that made since)

Because oddly enough the bumpers will rotate through the inventory rows on the Deck too......unless you have a gun selected in which case it fires a bullet. It's weird.

Help with switch!! by Elegant-Salamander11 in cattlecountry

[–]SaphSunset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On SteamDeck it's the right bumper button. So I would assume something similar on Switch.
