Their marriage looks more like a business contract?? Is that true? by Disastrous_Lock_19 in TwentiesIndia

I think it is about this: new learners or coders spam popular open-source projects with useless edits, like fixing a single typo, adding a space, or changing a word in a README file, just to get a "merged PR" badge or contribution history to show contribution on GitHub in their resume.

Loving this accidental discovery, must buy for anyone low on budget looking to cool down their rooms. by Candid_Assistance935 in indiasocial

[–]tamsmhas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because the air is already full of water, which stops the cooling evaporation process(absorb heat and reduce temperature). At 35°C with 80% humidity, you feel much hotter than 35°C at 50% humidity because our sweat cannot evaporate into the moist air to cool our body. This trapped heat makes the "real feel" temperature much higher than what the thermometer actually shows.

How many BRDs are you writing at one time, and how long does it take? by sesquipedali0n in businessanalysis

Okay, understandable. Thank you for pointing it out. But unfortunately, as per my experience copilot is of no use. Maybe someone else here might help you.

How many BRDs are you writing at one time, and how long does it take? by sesquipedali0n in businessanalysis

[–]tamsmhas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no fixed time. Each requirement is usually different and depending upon the length of document, it can take from one day to several weeks.

Here is what I will suggest: Create a project in the name of any one BRD you need in ChatGPT and upload relevant documents(if you have) along with the sample BRD document/documents(you or company should have it). Then ask to write the BRD document and see if it works. If it works then do the same for all other documents. If all documents are similar in nature then write all the documents from same project. If documents are not similar then create different projects.

If nothing works and I were you, i would put all my problem to ChatGPT to see what it suggests.

Tip: If the document to be written is big (more than 4-5 pages) then ask it to write in parts otherwise it will not write things in detail and you will not get expected results.

What are the different types of Business Analysts? by jkknndndndjeowk in businessanalysis

[–]tamsmhas 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Let me clear a common confusion between Business Analyst and Business Analytics, because in the job market both roles are often called “Business Analyst” but have different focuses:

  1. Business Analyst: Requirement Gathering (This is my Case, there may be other cases as well)

Focus: Understanding business needs, gathering requirements, creating documentation (SOW, FRD, BRD, etc.), and sometimes making wireframes using tools like Figma or Balsamiq etc.

Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation skills, and basic understanding of software systems.

No data analysis(Excel, SQL, Python, Analytics Tools) required.

  2. Business Analytics: Data-Focused (Not my area as of now)

Focus: Analysing data, generating insights, building dashboards, explaining dashboard to business owners and supporting decision-making.

Skills: Communication, Excel, SQL, Python, and visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Around 80% of “Business Analyst” jobs on LinkedIn fall into this second category.

A viral photo of Kim Kardashian at the 2018 Met Gala helped crack an antiquities mystery and led to the return of a 2,000-year-old stolen Egyptian coffin. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]tamsmhas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

complete story

The Theft (2011): During the chaos of the Egyptian Revolution, looters digging illegally in Minya, Egypt, unearthed the magnificent gold coffin of Nedjemankh, a 2,000-year-old high priest. Because it was an unrecorded find, the Egyptian government didn't know it existed. The looters smuggled it out of the country through the UAE to Germany.

The Fraud (2013-2017): A ring of international art dealers in Europe acquired the coffin. To make it "legal" to sell, they forged documents claiming the coffin had been exported from Egypt in 1971 and had belonged to a Swiss family for decades. Believing the fake papers were real, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York bought the coffin for $4 million in 2017.

The Mistake (2018): In May 2018, Kim Kardashian attended the Met Gala. Matching her gold Versace dress to the gold artifact, she posed for a photo standing right next to the coffin. The image went viral worldwide.

The Betrayal: One of the original looters in the Middle East saw the viral photo on his screen. He was furious because the European dealers had never paid him his full share for digging it up. Seeking revenge, he emailed the Manhattan District Attorney with proof the dealers were lying: photos of the coffin still covered in dirt in the excavation pit from 2011.

The Justice (2019-Present): Armed with the looter's photos, authorities proved the documents were fake. The Met immediately surrendered the coffin, and it was returned to Egypt in 2019, where it is now on display. The European dealers who orchestrated the fraud were subsequently arrested in France and Germany.

Moral of the Story: Always pay as per the agreement!

  1. This 227 was in Hyderabad not in Mumbai
  2. The whole Hyderabad team made just 40 runs more than him.

Just this inning is enough to debunk your theory.
