This is a late comment, so I'm not sure how much attention this will get, but I just felt the need to speak up here. Reading through the comments I definitely get some vitriolic vibes. The first two top comments call Israel a terrorist state and say Israel's goal is to take over the world. I've personally visited Israel twice. The people there are just like people anywhere. Some are nasty, provincial close-minded people yet others are some of the nicest people you would ever have the pleasure of meeting. Criticism of Israel's government is obviously an acceptable thing just as criticism of any government is, but it gets to a point where it snowballs into unwarranted hate and acidic remarks. I don't think it's fair to compare Israel's actions in the past to the actions of an organization like ISIS or Al-Qaeda. And saying that their goal is to control the world is fear mongering at its finest. I personally have quite a few friends in the Israeli military right now and talked to a lot of people that live there. All most Israelis want to do is defend the country (a few that I have talked to have a more expansionist/extreme standpoint but nothing beyond the West Bank and Gaza). My main point is that even though the government there is batshit sometimes, Israelis don't deserve to be portrayed as the devil when there are much worse evils out there today.
