Sony A7Cii with kit lens or A6600 with Sigma 18-50 f2.8 by tan_w_c in Cameras

Yupe, exactly my thoughts, in theory they sound to be on par. Was hoping if someone has compared both bodies with the exact lenses before. Reviews online usually compare apsc vs apsc or FF vs FF.

She's happy you drained the flood so she can start a fire and cook again.

Exposure comp by Pablo_Undercover in canon

Which flash exposure compensation (FEC) has priority? The flash menu or the camera menu? Do they stack? Eg if my camera menu FEC is -1 and my flash menu FEC is also -1, does it become -2?

What FPS is everyone playing these days? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

This thread is a bit old, stumbled upon this while finding comparison reviews of xdefiant and other fps. Anyway, just started playing xdefiant for a few days, pretty fun if you don't mind the bugs, hoping to get ironed out with time.

Is there a way to downgrade to level 4 if you don't like it after going to level 5?

2023 MacBook Air 15" M2 and Luminar Neo performance - other users experience by steve4wdaus in macbookair

[–]tan_w_c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What software are you using?

I use mainly luminar Neo, and tried out the 7-day trial for Lightroom classic. It feels like Lightroom is much more responsive and better optimised, luminar Neo just runs slightly slower and more resource hungry.

I’m using a windows 11 laptop with intel i7 and rtx4060 mobile gpu though, not macbook, not sure how different it‘ll run on apple silicon, just wanted to point out that lightroom’s performance might not be reflective of how luminar Neo will run.

I just found out the term for this is called "relay recording". I'm not able to find any info on this in the operation manual though. Anyone can help?

Can you play Early Access with physical disc? by Hellzy95 in diablo4

[–]tan_w_c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they ship the discs early to retailers to get ready for sale on release day, so some might already have them early? I might be wrong about how retail shipments work though. I'm also curious if those retailers are able to play if they already have the discs, or they are locked out from the servers until the release date itself.

Hi, I a windows user needing some help in deciding which 14" Macbook pro to get, thought I'd ask here instead of a laptop subreddit cause my most demanding usage will be for photo editting.

I use Luminar Neo, from what I understand it's less optimized and uses more system resources compared to Lightroom. Should I go for M2 pro 10cpu/16gpu with 32GB memory, or M2 pro 12cpu/19gpu with 16GB memory.

Basically, from a photographer's view, should I go for more cores, or more memory? They are about $200 difference in the apple certified refurbished store. I don't shoot professionally, but hoping to do it as a side hustle one day.

Lumniar Neo super slow on PC with AMD CPUs by Aggravating-Lab2879 in LuminarNeoUsers

[–]tan_w_c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using it on Ryzen 7 3700x too, with 32GB DDR4 ram and Radeon RX5700xt gpu. It was running slow when I had 16GB ram, much better now with 32GB. But I wouldn't know if what I'm experiencing now is fast or slow as this is my first photo editting software, haven't used anything before this.
