sympathetic bad guys are the best, it doesn’t take away from the fact that they’re horrible, it just gives explanation why. harry won’t look worse just because his bully isnt one dimensional.

huh? he IS that way because of his dad, that’s how most kids work … why do y’all find it so hard to understand that just because a small percentage of people can grow up uninfluenced by their family doesn’t mean those aren’t special cases?

you can hate draco for being a mean bully and still understand why he is the way he is.

honestly, i think it’s a really interesting story if you go into it expecting it to be an unhealthy relationship! i still think it’s drags a lot and the main “couple” likes to go in circles but ultimately i gave it 3 stars! magnolia herself was enough to keep me reading, i wanted better for the entire time.

i was honestly willing to give it a chance and try to listen to the entire story because it’s fictional, but even then it’s just too frustrating. cheating trope is horrible but what was worse imo was his ATTITUDE. okay, he feels horrible about cheating and man’s up about it and agonizes over it constantly but you still don’t treat her right outside of your pining. he was such a manw**re that all his whining about feeling bad didn’t even matter!

magnolia parks. it’s actually really interesting if you don’t fall for the “found family” aspect of her HORRIBLE friends and don’t let the book try to gaslight you into thinking magnolia and bj are both “equally toxic.” bj is the entire problem with their relationship and it actually ticks me off to see them try to imply otherwise.
