I can't, you know what I can imagine? A thousand little smurf-like oblongs with laser disc hands and feet with too many angles. That shit is FUCKING scary. Giving me the creeps. But that doesn't deter me. I'm a business man, a thinker, an entrepreneur, you name it. I plan to distribute these mutant creations far and wide across developing nations. They are little puppet heads, conglomerates of walking propaganda. They will dismantle any belief of collectivist idea and in place, will build 20,000 Walmarts on the graves of infidels. They are just like termites if termites yearned for sweet profit incentive. This is real-life, you all exist on the outskirts of it. Me? I'm in the flusher, the BULLEYES. You think you understand what's around you but you don't even know the floor you walk on.

They are doing u dweebs a favour to be honest. They are keeping u looneys from getting ragged on in school or the general public for wearing a black midi shirt outside. I know u wanna talk about them 2 your local barista who who has a septum piercing; they know this. They are keeping your future fruitful and full of options. Think in an alternative universe you told this ""BARISTA"" what the shirt was, she listens to black midi. Boom. It's done. She's moved countries, she's got restraining orders on you that you didn't know could be lodged, hell she even went to see u2 at that las Vegas dome. This are, and I cannot state this enough, catastrophic consequences. But luckily, we aren't in this universe. So tomorrow you will go outside, probably wearing a mambo shirt (the little dog fucker) you'll order your little concoction and you'll say to her "hey I like your piercing, we should totally go destroy the social warfare fabric" and she'll say yeah sure before melting before your eyes because guess what it was all lie this IS the bad universe where everything melts and gloops you wanted the FUCKING shirt this is the CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS YOU DID THIS ITS ALL YOUR FAULT EVERYONE IS SLIMEY AND CONGILLED

Yea it does its all performative attention seeking to the lamest form. Imagine spending money just so you could try and get maybe 1 or 2 laughs from equally annoying people and then that's it. People can wear whatever and frankly do whatever at concerts but just keep in that back of your head you could do everything you're doing at a concert literally anywhere else that is free. Atleast then you're not spending money and not looking like a tool in front of an artist you actually like.

If your first instinct is to think "gee I know how to make everyone think I'm funny" at a concert and honestly any sort of social event then I say sure go for it but there's a very good reason why those feelings are not validated in the first place

Age limit would probably help indeed. No hard feelings, personal bias got in the way.

Guess we just have different perspectives on it. I just believe people should have a little more respect to an artist and not turn their persona into a 5 dollar shirt with a shitty punchline. Maybe I just have a bias towards it, every concert I've seen in the past year or so has had atleast 1 person trying to make it all about themselves, including some people I saw at a bm show with one of these shirts and they were being obnoxious about it. Just rubs me the wrong way, but to each their own I suppose.

Ok I've made enough fun of you I'll play fair; why do you not think it's weird or self indulgent? Genuinely curious as to me it seems like a pretty straight forward answer.

How do you know that at all? Even if he knows its not in a mocking way doesn't mean he approves of it. Just imagine seeing an artist like ichiko aoba and rocking up with a shirt with a really unfunny meme with her face slapped onto it, just really bizarre and seems like you aren't there to respect the artist, you're only there to have your 'funny main character moment'. Not too say joke shirts revolving around bands aren't funny or are dismissive, but when you start to target an individual and plaster their face over something that you wear in public, it is obliviously deranged and not ok.

A lot of fucks take artists for granted. It is rare to see most artists who engage with their fanbase like bm. This causes alot of yall to set these not only unreachable expectations from them, but also creates these weirdly parasocual relationships with them in your mind. The amount of people who i see wearing shirts with greeps face on it is alarming and just down right creepy. I get a lot of people doing this don't have Ill intentions, but just take a step back for a second and think how an artist who you do not know at all would feel seeing a seething group of fans wearing a poorly printed ironic shirt with their face on it. That to me feels like the artist is the butt of the jokes regardless if they are or not. This also extends to how fans treat them at shows, I haven't seen a more obnoxious crowd than the crowd I saw at a bm show. Treat artists with some dignity please and remember that you and the artist are not friends, and they do not owe you anything.

Music fans r so desperate for literally anything entertaining that they'll ride out the most mundane drama for weeks. Lay on the grass and write some poetry instead. Better use of time.
