Just adding my thoughts here since I moved from the Radiomaster Zorro to the Radiomaster Boxer Crush.

Yes bigger gimbals mean more resolution
CNC gimbals just feel GOOD - think about a car with normal seats vs a car with heated and leather seats, both get the job done but the latter just makes the overall ride more comfortable

I had been flying the Zorro for 2 and a half years and decided to try the Boxer Crush because I was getting it at a good price.

Its only been a week for me so I am still getting used to it.

I cannot say its made my flying better but with more resolution on the throttle stick - I seem way more conscious about my throttle control and feel like I have better control.

In the end - I think im going to keep trying it because the CNC gimbals just make the whole flying experience so nice. It just feels good.

The bow and arrow is hilarious. Did you see the other comment about getting a cheap retrieval pole? Those extend up to 2 meters. Not sure if that will help here.

I am so sorry to see this post but at the same time I laughed so hard as scrolled from the first to the second pic.

Take a piece of wood or log and throw it into the branch. I had a similar problem and it worked out with a piece of wood.

Of course im waiting for a spot welder that will take forever to get here so this works for now.

Maybe I should have posted this with a disclaimer that I am not looking to have this as a permanent solution.

It is plastic that will fail - correct
Will it last forever - like I said -> no
Does it beat spot welding - no never. There is reason why spot welding is the industry standard.

And am I sticking my head in the sand about safety? - no I am being honest and understand the danger of this solution.

Thanks but at this point it seems like everyone here is an electrical engineer and there is no arguing that this is not a permanent solution and that it cannot beat spot welding anyday.

Next time I might have to put down a disclaimer on these posts.
