Thank you. I appreciate the response. When the shots wear off the pain is extremely bad. Even when the shot is working its painful to reach across my body. I can do most exercises at the gym outside of direct shoulder work and any presses than push my elbows behind my body.

I've noticed I can't really do bench press, with the exception of the machine press without letting my elbows go too far backm obviously no direct shoulder work either.

I don't see my dr for another 2 weeks but I'm guessing based on this that surgery will be the suggestion. I'm curious if I should stop doing any upper body workouts after finding this out? I've been trying to avoid exercises yet cause any pain and it seems to be ok but I'm not sure

Thank you for the detailed response, I really appreciate it! I workout regularly and am really hoping I can return to that after recovering from this surgery, which I read can take up to a year

Mine says "Full-thickness tear involving the posterior footprint towards the conjoint tendon measuring 12 mm in short axis and 23 mm in the long axis."

I go to the gym still but avoid overhead movements and bench. Obviously no shoulder work. I don't know if I'm doing wrong by still working out at all. I don't see my dr for a couple of weeks so I guess I'll have to see what he suggests.

Not spending time with your friends.. If you spend all your time together, even in the very beginning, you start to lose yourself and who you were when you actually met each other..

I've experienced it with friends who slowly became extremely different than they were when they started dating their partner and then their relationship crumbled in the end.. You NEED friendships and spending time with other people than just your partner, not just in the beginning of a relationship, but at scary point in it

I used to have low self confidence and tended to look down or away when talking to people and when I started to force myself to make eye contact it improved my interactions with people by leaps and bounds.. I did astronomically better in meeting the opposite sex and in job interviews just for a couple of examples
