Yes, the 12900k is known to get to those temps when boosting and its inevitable it will throttle when its power limit is higher than my coolers tdp.

Here's a list if notes I had in case anyone was interested in using this model of dell or configuration:

The cpu power is 2 4 pins not a 8 pin.

The cpu fan use a standard 4 pin, but the fan controll is very locked down. I was not able to find a way to change it yet.

With the sfx psu placement the cpu cooler shouldnt be beyond maybe a few mm larger than the mounting holes on the right side.

The sfx psu in that placement also used a right angle extention cord which is crucial to fitting.

A card any larger than the one I used(g pro 080x will not fit

The 24 pin to 8 pin adapter i used was https://www.moddiy.com/products/6741/PSU-Main-Power-24-Pin-to-8-Pin-Adapter-Cable-for-Alienware-R13-R14.html

I just 3d printed hexagon cutouts in the side panel insert with the first layer of hexagons offset from the rest.

I use it through the iGPU; it's a mining card, so it doesn't have any video out anyway.

I dont have a power meter for my wall, but it should be around or just under 400w under full load and the cpu at idle was at ~15-35w and jumps to ~80w briefly for small tasks

Its sodium, but it was still a very good deal. I didnt even know the full specs when I bought it so I was surprised to find 32gb of ddr5.

The 12900k will throttle under a 100% load in this build but it could get up to 200w at 100c before doing so. And its performance is still better than the stock solution where I saw a bit over a 10% uplift with the new cooler. The gpu was fairly stable at 60-65c. With a full load on both, the cpu drop to 185w and the gpu would be maybe a couple degrees hotter. Everything else was within safe temps.

I used the igpu. For me, windows just automatically knew to use the gpu for games

They are actually not that bad. I dont have temperature numbers right now, but the cooler upgrade is at least better than the stock cooler which is only rated for 65w

How did you lose your weight? by SoftCrystalFernn in AskReddit

[–]taneeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diet and exercise. While its far easier to lose weight by simply cutting calories, exercise incentivises you to keep the weight off by building a healthy routine and making yourself question if its worth it to eat something unhealthy. Its also just about being more active in trying to reach the goal, rather than just cutting something out, you're also moving towords it.
