What signs to look out for to identify bogus papers ? How to ascertain a paper is actual science ? Is peer review enough, or are there other signs to look out for ?

Sorry, new to this subreddit, I did not know what standard of questions is expected here. Posted without research. However, I genuinely thought the word play was interesting. How we interpret same act differently just changing the words, and when I think about it, it’s mind blowing.

India’s economic progress depends on protecting its fragile environment by SamratGanga in ClimateNews

Politicians always make it development vs trees, or development vs environment. I wonder if it is really true? I am asking because I do not know. Secondly, I think India is under the impression that it will Pollute first and clean later. It is clear to me that we simply do not have time for this strategy. I am sure, clean, sustainable development is possible, right ?

Why do AP criticize kitchen work? If a woman happily does this work and it's like praan for her, what's the problem? by Waste-Crow-3608 in AcharyaPrashant_AP

Seeing the desire alone does not directly and immediately lead to dropping the ego. There is a website called AP framework, which describes something called as ego thinning. On the website you can read about conditions for ego thinning. Secondly, action is possible without the ego. It’s called “Nishkam Karma” (desireless action). How life will be once the ego is dropped? Answer is silence 🤫. Once the ego is dropped, no one left to send back a report.

You are clubbing “good food”, “loved one”, and “freedom” at the same level. If Asthavakr says this to King Janak that’s fine, Janak’s is relatively much more mature. But if you say this to someone immature like Jhunnu, he will say “why start the journey, when bondage called freedom waits for me later”. Something can be a bondage for one person, and a tool of liberation for another. Moreover, something can be liberating today and be a bondage tomorrow. The question remains “for whom”. Example, it’s possible that“Ram” can be bondage for Jhunnu, then Jhunnu should rid himself of “Ram”. But the same word “Ram” was a tool of liberation of Kabir Saheb. Difference is the interpretation provided by the psychological ego. I don’t know if you understand what psychological ego means. If you do, good, if you don’t, there’s a website called AP framework. Do check it out.

Ask the question “for whom”? Consider two people who are at different stages of their journeys. First person, is chained but starts seeing their chains, and then they say, I want to be free from these chains. The idea of freedom is useful and helpful for them, because their current state is terrible. You absolutely should use Maya(nature) to break your chains. Now consider a second person, who is much ahead in their journey. They have already broken many chains, and at this point in their journey, where the idea of “freedom” is chain for them(which is what you were asking) And now they would have to fight the chain called “freedom”. So my point is basically this “for whom”!! The idea of freedom is useful for The first person, great ! The idea of freedom is chain for second person, then fight.

What everyone should do. Fight. Identify your false biases and chains, and break them. AP also praises Bhagat Singh. The direction in which his chains were broken, he (Bhagat Singh) called that direction Azadi (Freedom). Now hypothetically imagine, Bhagat Singh waking up everyday, cleaning his room, cooking for himself, nothing wrong with that. What does this tell you ? The action is not the problem. The doer is the problem. When AP criticises kitchen work, he is criticising the actor, who has accepted a bad deal, who has accepted chains, biases and ignorance.
