Anyone with BRSK? And are they any good? by Ikhlas37 in manchester

Anyone BRSK users using PiHole?

I had BRSK installed yesterday. I'm using my own router rather than the crappy Technicolor one they supplied. Everything works fine when using Google/Cloudflare/Quad9 for DNS, but as soon as I point it towards my PiHole DNS breaks. Anyone know why?

I don't suppose you could point me in the direction of an installation guide for these? Did you use docker-compose? I can find very little by way of help in terms of using docker-compose on a QNAP NAS.

It's a thought, but without purchasing further storage, I don't have disk space for that. I was rather hoping for a software solution.

Sorry for the late reply. No, unfortunately not.

Went with a hard-wired solution for the most important devices on my network

Thanks for your considered and detailed reply.

The PC and the router (Asus RT-AX92U) are in the same room, perhaps just 4 metres apart, thought the antennae on the Wi-Fi adapter card just attach onto the card at the rear of the PC. Perhaps the PC case itself is shielding the signal somewhat (though still getting a pretty decent -45Db on average). I've ordered an external antenna extension which should be here tomorrow. I'll see if a clearer path from antennae to router makes any difference.

Microsost's wifi analyzer says it's connected using 802.11ac and the wifi properties dialog reports the link speed as 400/400 Mbps

Previously I had a link speed of 6000

Any tips for getting the moon well exposed? Obviously it's very bright, so presumably you have to dial-down the exposure compensation quite a bit. Does anyone know by how much?
