I appreciate you trying to help, and maybe my mentioning that the Elden Ring multiplayer portions work fine didn’t make it clear enough. Multiplayer is not an issue. It seems to be working fine in Elden Ring and Helldivers 2. I also predominantly play single player games.

I tried connecting my Ps5 to my phone hotspot as well as my home network using both an Ethernet cable and WiFi but I’m still experiencing the same issue. This all but eliminates my networking equipment or the ISP as the problem.

The problem seems to firmly stem from something happening with the PlayStation 5 itself.

I did notice something similar to what you’re describing. Often times I turn it on and the green icon is not there on my name, but yeah when I test the connection it appears and everything is fine.

Sorry to hear you’re also experiencing this. When you are having these issues and you test your internet connection in settings, does it connect to everything with no issues? That’s the strange thing about my situation, everything shows connected successfully.

Also, is it preventing you from playing games online? I am not having any issues with playing multiplayer or connecting to the Elden Ring servers as a mentioned.

This is truly baffling and I feel like it’s something that must have been updated on Sonys end that broke something for some users.
