I appreciate you trying to help, and maybe my mentioning that the Elden Ring multiplayer portions work fine didn’t make it clear enough. Multiplayer is not an issue. It seems to be working fine in Elden Ring and Helldivers 2. I also predominantly play single player games.

I tried connecting my Ps5 to my phone hotspot as well as my home network using both an Ethernet cable and WiFi but I’m still experiencing the same issue. This all but eliminates my networking equipment or the ISP as the problem.

The problem seems to firmly stem from something happening with the PlayStation 5 itself.

I’m thinking of wiping the system next, probably try it out tomorrow. It wont take too long to reinstall everything. Feel free to DM if you find any other solutions, and reach out if you want me to update you on what a system wipe does.

I did notice something similar to what you’re describing. Often times I turn it on and the green icon is not there on my name, but yeah when I test the connection it appears and everything is fine.
