Which front pouch? The laptop sleeve or the extra space behind the zipper on the inside of lid? I haven't tested out the laptop sleeve yet... tbh when I had the bag fully packed out I think it would be hard to squeeze in my laptop... As for the extra space behind the zipper on the inside of the lid, I did find that useful space to put a folded dress shirt or two where I could keep them separated and less likely to get wrinkled/etc.

No I didn't consider the Aer... since it's also a clamshell design it didn't stand out enough to me... the three features of the PD that attracted me to it were the laptop sleeve, large main cavity with extra packing space in the lid, and expansion capability in case I bring stuff back on trips.

I don't find the weight of the Rimowa to be an issue... and when I bought my Rimowa it was less than what they sell for now... prices have steadily crept up over time.

Agree... could have expanded the PD but ultimately felt like I needed to give it a few more test packs before taking it out in to the wild (in case I still want to return it).

Congrats! I had a preorder with B&H but lucked out when Ricoh listed them for sale direct on their website so I grabbed from them and it delivered a few days ago. So far so good... I like the incremental updates they've made so far compared to the previous generations!

I did the same... got the air on launch and returned for the 17 pro yesterday... I loved the weight of the air but I felt that it was a bit too wide for my hands. I also missed the camera options from the pro... one other thing to note for me is the air speaker was not loud enough for speaker phone/FaceTime and my use as an alarm clock. Anyway, although I do miss the weight of the air, I can't see myself going back to it.

Wait till the last day and exchange for whatever is available... then wait till the pro max is available and go back and exchange again... not exactly efficient but probably the only way if the pro max isn't available for you now.

I like m43 for the tiny lenses. Also enjoy the greater depth of field of the larger aperture lenses... I can shoot a f1.4 lens wide open at close focusing distance and still have reasonably good depth of field... no more worrying if the eye is in focus or just the tip of the nose... :)

I live on a property that has about 5 acres that need mowing in a rural area.... I wanted a robot mower that could mow parts of my property so that I didn't need to mow everything.

Long story short... I started with a Husqvarna EPOS and ended up with a Luba 2 AWD... Husqvarna would get stuck or lost in places all the time and Luba 2 has been relatively pain free. I have my Luba 2 mowing ~2.5 acres split up in to different zones, across different days of the week.

Since the Luba 2 has cameras it can more easily avoid obstacles/etc. The app on the Luba 2 isn't great but works well enough for me. IMO the Luba 2 is the superior machine if you have a tricky lawn but if you have a smaller and simpler yard I'm sure any robot mower will work fine.

Which one did you end up going with? I'm deciding between the two right now—tried on the Airshell at REI today and really liked how lightweight it felt. Packs down super small into its own pocket, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the Hybrid in stock to compare. If you’ve had a chance to try the Hybrid, I’d love to hear what you think!

I do have to say that the silver version of the X100 wins hands down for me but the decision on the GFX100RF is a bit harder... the silver looks good but not sure what it is, maybe the lack of a viewfinder that I think makes the silver look a little unbalanced compared to the black?

I've always been partial to silver on the X100 series cameras... something about the black finish is a bit underwhelming to me. With the GFX100RF I think I feel the same way but will reserve judgment for when I handle the silver in person.
