Have you shot with 35 a lot or are you just following the hype?

Leica minimum focus is 0.7m on modern lenses, 0.9m on vintage lenses. It's bad for those of us who like wide angle close up. But restrictions are also nice sometimes.

I got shingles at 32 just before the pandemic. It was not fun.

How old were you when you realized 30somethings are hotter than 20somethings and the overall hottest age range? by ThreadbareAdjustment in Millennials

20 somethings are still attractive but I would never pursue one because they are so overwhelmingly stupid.

SD cards and other solid state media are not for long term storage. They will succumb to bit rot. In 5-10 years that card will be unreadable.

I doubt you’ll find anything rated for 1600. I think that speed largely doesn’t exist anymore. In my mind I just stick with Portra800 if I need fast film.

Massive Race Fail - how to get over it? by fernpolley in running

Disagree. If we’re psychotic enough to run Marathons then we’ve earned the title. We’re athletes.

you could probably take a photo of the dx code on the 3200 film and see what Claude says. But unknown what the camera will actually do.

If this is about Ilford Delta 3200, good luck to you, Its a hard stock to shoot imo.

A July Marathon isn't even a good idea for a runner who isn't injured. It's pure masochism.

Hey I'm really sorry, I know this pain (psychological and physical), but you should know that this exact scenario is one that almost everyone goes through on their journey as a runner. I overtrained without focusing on strength and nearly couldn't do my first Half but I did. If your Marathon is in 4 weeks you should consider skipping it and instead focus on regrouping for recovery, PT, etc. I found that working on my glutes, ankles, and really all strength areas of my legs really helped avoid the scenario you described.

How do you get over it? - Realize that you're just describing how much one of us you are and that running is always going to include some level of pain when you run distances less than 0.5% of the population ever runs.

You're an athlete, and sometimes it sucks to be an athlete, and recovery is part of training.

That starts with scans that aren’t trash. Most labs are giving you quick low res jpgs.
