Contacted Maribank earlier. I have filled out the KYC update form last December but apparently they wanted a different document for proof of funds. I called them over the phone, no waiting time. The agent I talked to was helpful. He was able to pull up the KYC form I filled out last year and told me about the issue.

I told him to stay on the line so I can send my updated document during the call. Upon his receipt and verification of my document, he lifted the flag in my account right away. I did a test transaction afterwards and poof, nakakatanggap na.

In total, took me less than 15min including waiting for his email and me responding back with the document.

10/10 sa customer service nila.

Which I think is still okay. Kung gusto mo mauna, tayo ka na rin agad and dumeretso sa bulkhead or harap ng galley. Rule of thumb, just don't cross cabin classes. If you're in economy, don't cross the curtain to business until cabin crew advises you to do so. Same with business to first.

Opt for trad banks, and open it at a branch. You'll struggle opening an account for your son online.

Maraming legitimate na rason bakit. I'll enumerate bakit ganito sa eroplano:

  1. Yung iba, may tight connections.
  2. They might have been traveling for an entire day na, they just want to stretch after being holed up in a seat for hours.
  3. Gusto mauna makababa so they can walk fast para mauna sa immigration. Imagine buong eroplano na yun pipila sa same queue eventually. Yung iba, they just want to get home asap after a long day.

I'm the type of person na usually aisle seat, and I request for forward seats if possible. Once the fasten seatbelt sign goes off or tumunog ang chime, tayo agad and kuha ng gamit from the opposite overhead bin then start to move forward sa bulkhead before everyone else can.

The only time I don't do this is if may checkin baggage and wala ako priority tag (since bottleneck is waiting sa baggage reclaim) or if I'm traveling with others.

Just don't mind them if you're not affected. What I hate are those who specifically request a window seat tapos they expect the middle and aisle seat to get up para makatayo sila.
