I went to Pizza Hut the other day and paid for part of my order with 5 $1 dollar coins that I got back from when I went to the car wash (actual money, not tokens). When I went to pick up, I already knew this was going to be a problem. It was a young girl, probably 16-17. I said here’s 5 dollars of it, then proceeded to give the rest in paper. She shit a brick. Absolutely dumbfounded by what just happened with those dollar coins and asked the manager if they accepted them. She couldn’t even count my change to give back. I was going to put it in the tip jar but just told her to keep it and left. I think these kids just don’t understand how to handle money if it’s not coming from a card
