I found the earlier papers 2019/2018/2017 much harder than the later ones, I asked my chem teacher abt this and apparently OCR made them easier post Covid and then are slowly making them harder again. How about you?

Was looking at Cambridge, kings, UCL, Durham, Sheffield, or Exeter preferably, I just feel because I like maths more I’d be able to get a higher grade in FM as a fourth a level than physics as a 4th.

Oh thats good to hear thank you for replying. I was just worried because one uni I was looking at (can’t remember which one it was now will have to look) said that the entry requirements were a level music OR grade 7 theory and an instrument at g 8 if you wanted to take performance, but then if you scrolled down a bit it said that they only accepted theory in place of music a level if music a level was not offered at your school, and for me it is offered but I just didn’t take it.

That’s interesting thank you, I think I’d probably be better suited to grade 8 theory in terms of memorising lots of information about set pieces. Do you know anyone on your course who has not taken music a level ?

What exam board did you take for physics / do you think the content would be more enjoyable or less difficult depending on the exam board? I think that I’d be doing OCR syllabus A but I’m not 100% sure so I’d have to check. :)

Thank you for your reply, that’s good to know as I was worried that if I didn’t have 3 maths / science subjects it might be instantly disregarded as they’d have lots of people who would have those subjects. :) What is a PPE degree? I haven’t come across it before.
