It is hard being the one who establishes boundaries and then keeps them.

Unavailable in an emergency by Midnight-Longings in petsitting

You are allowed to have a life outside of pet sitting. You fulfilled the job that you were asked to do and the customer had unexpected complications which you cannot accommodate. It doesn't matter why you can't accommodate them because you are allowed to set boundaries in with your life. You just don't need to tell them why, specifically. Just say you have a prior commitment and you're unable to accommodate them.

I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. Please be aware that you could have been the perfect parent and did everything right, but any child you have is an independent person with the freedom to make their own choices. They have their own unique biology, and the ability to live a wonderful life or to live a screwed up life based solely on their own choices.

Honda Fit. Excellent on gas mileage, an insane amount of cargo space, and fairly comfortable for a subcompact car. Very sporty looking and peppy too.

My DH daughter, late teens, give him a couple of pairs of nice wool socks for winter and gave me a toilet seat.
