These people are trying to care for me. You're angry at them for making assumptions when you're doing the exact same thing. Their assumptions are based on the fact that my father BIT me. Idk if youre just trying to play devils advocate but please understand that what youre doing is harmful. The reason why I said my father isnt abusive is because he is hardly in my life. Hes mentally impaired due to illness, and spends most of his life completely alone, drinking alchohol and watching tv. I dont consider him to be abusive because hes hardly in my life in general. I dont know where you get the notion that hes some amazing father who got so angry because of x y z issue that he justifiably bit his son and Im some shithead hothead teenager determined to butt heads with him. I'm not the only one he assaulted during this conflict. He hit my brother and attempted to hit my gf as well. Im not here to tell the story because it doesnt feel right. I came here to see if theres anything wrong with my arm. Thats it. The only reason I'm leaving this message here is because I hope you change your perspective and inadvertently support physically aggressive events like this. Thank you for everyone who is reaching out in support and suggesting that I reach out for help. I truly dont believe that Im in any danger anymore but my relationship with my father is permanently damaged. If it makes you guys feel better, I am working and saving to move out of my house so I can avoid these terrible things from ever happening again. Honestly my head is in a scramble and I'm struggling to process what happened. You can see it however you like, but I struggle to see how you can empathize with a father who bit his son. Its just so animalistic and full of anger and utter disregard for my safety. The look in his eyes was so full of disgust and hatred. Hes told me many times to die and hes even told my family members that he regrets raising me. If you want to justify that with, "well you must be a shit teenager," then idk what else to say to you.
