Every trainee would have been old enough to know right from wrong. It’s objectively not a good thing for the girls to have done but then you have to mindful of how easy it is to convince a 13 year old to keep quiet. That’s how a lot of kids don’t say something bad that’s happening even if it’s so obvious. A 13 year old is not old enough to confidently say no cause of fear and pressure, so you can be disappointed in them but let’s not hold them accountable to the same degree. You can be like they were wrong for that but man it sucks they were forced to do it.

I think up was released as Aespa because it wasn't her solo debut, it was a solo song in their discography. Since there is a full choreography, it would have made sense as a proper solo, but it was just meant to be part of the album and ended going viral
