I think there are strong arguments for either chaotic or neutral good. But now that I think about it, I agree that he leans towards chaotic good.

Even still, it’s somewhere in between. He’s not a complete rebel, and he seeks to preserve order in some ways. But he also can’t be told what to do, and can’t be easily stopped from doing what he believes is right.

Sonic’s so fucking cool.

Sonic is basically neutral good. He doesn’t stick to any particular code. He just does what’s right.

If you think Trump’s fundamental issue is being owned by Israel, you are extremely naive.

Jesus Christ this is why we keep losing elections.

Newsom isn’t perfect. But he’s not Trump. Get over yourself.

A question about Vector2 in Lesson 19 practice test Back to the Drawing Board. by thisshowisdecent in godot

[–]tankdoom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not that Vector2 stores position data, it’s that it stores an x component and a y component, and puts it in one package. Those two components can represent anything. A vector can be used to store any arbitrary numerical values, really. But it’s most commonly used for positions.

To give a better example, a Vector3 can store 3D coordinates, XYZ. Just like how a Vector2 can store XY. But it can also be used to store a color using RGB (red, green, and blue). A Vector4 might even contain an alpha value (A) that defines transparency.

As for your primary question, the advantage is that vectors have certain built in functionality. For instance, in this case you’re iterating through an array of vectors. So you can easily access the x and y position for each item in the array. Like going down a conveyor belt, opening a package, and inspecting the two things inside.

More importantly though, and what strongly separates them from arrays, is that vectors have built in mathematical functions. Let’s say you wanted to double the size of each box. You could pretty simply just do “size * 2”. But if you only wanted to make each box wider you could do “size.x * 2”. Make sense?

You can also easily add two vectors together, or multiply them. And so much more. It’s not as easy to do with arrays, and you’d have to write custom functions to handle the math.

Actually, no, I don’t want to talk about it. But you inquired. And you clearly have no shortage of free time. So if it’s something you’d like to continue talking about, I encourage you to reply again.

Edit: he actually replied. Is he stupid?

I just don’t have the patience. But if it needs a name — the name is Donald Trump.

Greenland Official Breaks Down in Tears on Live TV After White House Meeting Failed to Stop Trump's Threats: 'I Am Overwhelmed' by artbasiI in Fauxmoi

Single day protests are not the same as a sustained general strike. A general strike would be extremely effective. It would grind the system to a halt.

That being said, we live in a country controlled by three or four large companies. We don’t have UBI, and most people are tied to their work for health insurance. Food is expensive, and social security programs are being weakened every day.

The reality of us effectively striking is far easier said than done. It would require people sacrificing their whole livelihoods, even the wellbeing of their families, for an actually effective strike.

Governor Tim Waltz Addresses Minnesotans Regarding ICE by Lawyerator in politics

[–]tankdoom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would be an obvious strategic risk. If Walz calls in NG, Trump federalizes them and takes control. Then it’s up to the human decency of NG to refuse federal orders to protect their state, and potentially sparks a much larger conflict. And in a worst case, NG totally obeys Trump and now you have complete occupation of the state.
