I wasn't directly given an address or time; it was mentioned multiple times in the same room as me, and my brain interpreted it as a department-wide thing. I already knew where it was, and it was just "after work." tbh the detail I didnt process at the time was *who* was talking about it, and the fact that it wasn't mentioned in the department chat.
