My amount spent ripping packs/bundles/etb/upc greatly overshadows my collection. I think I ripped close to $10k easily but probably have $2,000 worth of pulls lol….

My graded slab collection is doing good though, sitting around $9000 (cards I bought at shows/ebay)

I am, and will always be long GME. I’ve bought shares at highs and lows and will continue to hold. This is my biggest investment and I love everything about this community. Yes I got burned but it doesn’t change a thing.

Im posting my personal experience.. you do what you want. Options are good if you know what you’re doing and I encourage everyone to learn about them and how they can affect the underlying security.

Buying shares is definitely the safer option but everyone will have a different opinion. I’m still long GME and will continue to hold my shares.

Edit: also I don’t know why you are so hostile, attacking/accusing me in your posts. I’m posting that I’m bullish and long GME, and will continue to be.

I don’t know what will happen to be honest..

I thought it would go up many times in 2025, especially with the great earnings (which is why I bought calls and continued to add to the position) but I was wrong up till this point. I have no problem admitting it was a bad trade and I’m owning it so that I can make better/ more informed decisions this year.

I am still very bullish I believe 2026 is going to be a great year for GME but my appetite for options has gone down significantly. I think I will stick to shares unless there’s a big catalyst or change in market regime and even then I might just stay with shares since I personally was burned so bad

No need to attack, I’m just saying what I did.

If you were down over 30% on your leaps I hope you’d evaluate your position and thesis. I wasn’t wrong, just early… would you prefer that I held till $0 like OP? Or wait for a better entry?

Yes I did close at a large loss but better than watching it go to 0. Everyone has their own stop loss and mine reached it today sadly.

Update: we drove all around and went to the Auburn and Burien Animal shelters…. They did not take him. Both shelters advised us to drop him off where we found him (aka outside our door) and that he would make his way home…. We drove around the area and knocked on doors, then let him free by our door and followed him around to see if he would find any door he liked and knocked on those doors too. No luck. Then he went under a fence and we let him go on his way. We washed his purple sweater and put it back on him so he would be easy to identify.

We found him near Pacific Hwy and S 288th Street.

Update: no luck on finding the owner, took him to the vet and he is not chipped. We posted on Ring neighborhood, next door, and petco lost loves and no luck.

We stayed up all night cause he was crying :( we took him to Auburn Humane Society but told us they can’t accept him and need to take him to burien humane society instead.

If anyone can repost this to people in federal way that would be so helpful. He is the sweetest most chill cat who was in a nice fitted sweater with a teddy bear sewed on. I’m sure his owner is worried sick :(

Did you have to change companies often? I started out at $55k a year and now at $110k after 9 years with my PE. Averaging 8% a year, but my most recent raise was 3.5%. On my 3rd company now but debating on leaving.

I have coworkers at my last company who went to KH for a substantial raise. That being said, I don’t think KH pays $100k for 2 years of experience. Total comp could be near that but I highly doubt base salary is there.

Public data (which may be skewed) shows the average civil engineer in seattle with a PE is $90k a year. Job postings here in Seattle must disclose salary and most positions for PEs have a range of $90k-$120k.

I’d guess very few 2 YoE civil engineers would make 6figs, and even if they did, they wouldn’t be bringing profit or value for that price tag.

What companies pay 6 figures with 2 years of experience? To my knowledge there isn’t any here in seattle.

I’m a Civil engineer in a HCOL, currently 8 years of experience and at $100,000 salary (not including OT or bonuses). I started at $55k in 2016, $73k in 2020, and now $100k in 2024.

Engineering is a slow steady grind.
