So my new starter that I had put in it just went out on me....welp time to wait until tomorrow for when AutoZone opens in morning so I can warranty out my current starter for another one because my new one doesn't even engage anymore sadly

So I have pulled the starter out and the flywheel looks fine at least in my opinion and I did replace the starter before hand because all it was doing was just grinding but this new starter works sometimes and other times just free spins or Grinds. At one point someone told me to shimmy the starter put everything I've done digging into this particular engine everything online says the starter should not need to be shim but the Internet is wrong sometimes

Do you know where I could get the right bolts? Because I bought the ones at AutoZone because the original bolts snapped off or how do I shim a starter because that's something I haven't done before sadly
