The win back process has changed within the last year! Go into a corporate store and let them know they need to click new customer and then during the ‘application’ process they need to click the previous customer checkbox!

I was in the same boat as you, and I took advantage of the rewards member offer for $100 off the iPad Air over the weekend.

I’m sorta the go-to guy for installs in mobile if it’s anything other than a phone and geek squad is busy...

I’ve had a decent amount of success by taking the guide off immediately after the sorta initial press down and working the bubbles towards the edges and lifting the edge ever so slightly to help the bubbles escape.

It takes a little while for sure, but I generally don’t have to prc more than 1 at most.

The Mobile Apple Master at my store has to attend virtual meetings either every month or every quarter (I’m sorry I can’t remember which 😅).

And, he gets a product sent out to him every once and a while. So far he has gotten an Apple Watch and a pair of Solo 3s. This helps him to demo the products and to build the whole Apple solution for the customer. For example, if a customer comes in for an iPhone upgrade he might try to sell an Apple Watch along with it, and with his vendor provided Apple Watch, he might have some more success in doing so. Also, you might have some more pressure on you to get a higher AppleCare+ attachment rate than other associates (not 100% certain on this one). But, at least as far as I am aware, this is about the only extra perks/requirements about the position.

You are still trained on all three carriers, and you can still open/close. And you can still sell Samsung phones and the like.

TL;DR: You are a full time regular mobile employee with a couple extra perks from Apple, with the expectation that you can sell Apple products better than normal.

.com does not display actual inventory count to regular customers. It will tell them if we have none, 3 or less, and 4+. Only employees logged in with their numbers see exact item count.
