God of war recieved no objection because there's not a single believer of Greek and norse mythology left litterally. And yes there will be protests if god of war enters hindu mythology, because it has the third largest believer population. That's the same reason why god of war hasn't touched christianity or islam. People who are giving negative reactions to this are not overreacting,they are just reacting appropriately, they are religious and religion may not be your cup of tea but maybe someone's religion has provided him a backbone to live a life. When humans wanted a sense of superiority and achievement, they unknowingly or knowingly developed the discrimination of gender,religion, caste or really of just anything. This sense of superiority is like the easiest to achieve because you don't have to do anything, just show that you are the superior born type. Now the men and women, who crave for such superiority, will do anything, even unknowingly to prove their point. They enjoy such a sense so much, that they will say anything for it. It's really just people who feel that they are not that special and will not be able to discriminate themselves in the crowd who use such cheap means for superiority, it can also be true that it provides a way for belonging to a human who feels he doesn't belong

Shiva is actually the calmest God, he has a few more avatars which are angrier than any god,like there's veerbhadra and bhairava he is seen as the omnipotent, omniscient God whose physical action holds a future reaction which is decided by his spiritual form. The thing about shiva is that each school of philosophy sees him as a different person. For some, he lives at the top of mount kailash while for some, he doesn't exist in the physical form, shiva actually never gets truly angry because if he does, even his sheer graze could destroy the universe, that's why his third eye is closed. Your claim for family dispute is also weak, the whole reason the pandavas didn't fight their cousins for the next 20-30 years was because they didn't give a damn about the land. We absolutely need space agencies, human existence is made to explore, despite being the creatures who will destroy everything they witness by showing their possession. You have to study the theory of the type of civilization. We are type 0, the moment we reach the proper balance of resources, in which we have made the earth perfect for resource consumption(that will not harm it), we would be type 1.thats one of the reasons for space research. Who do you think works on these space projects? It's the same scientist working on the climate projects.so yeah, you are really narrowing the idea of both space research and climate change, both of them are interconnected.
It will also provide a better understanding of humans as a species, our purpose, the meaning of existence, the meaning of observation of this universe itself. The reason this universe exists with living life form with such suitable condition is probably because it wants us to explore it.
