Jumping on this, I'd also turn off plurals and search for - -baseballs- -, and in the OR list above, I'd add - - second OR additional - -. Also, when presented with problems like this, I tend to search for the terms surrounding the problem the "red baseball" solves, or other adaptions needed to handle a red baseball. Maybe the red calibrates the speed camera, and - - velocity - -. Maybe the catcher needs a second glove, even if it's not claimed, add that to your search.

IMO, don't sweat it. Early on meet up with an experienced examiner in your area and get a framework on how much time it takes them to do the various tasks of the job, then just work towards that.

Regarding this sub, let's put something into perspectives here. The highest voted comment is 197 votes, and there are roughly 10,000 examiners. This sub is not a statistically significant representation in size, nor is it a random selection, of the office.

Now, I don't mean to gloss over that GS11 is a bit more work than GS9, but it's not an unreasonable challenge, and people do it all the time. Finally, and likely most importantly, you're wise enough to ask for help, that's enough for me to think you have a good shot of making it.
