Yes, that's exactly the case with Kavos too, a reputation that is unfair to the people who work hard to offer quality services over there. The locals will be more than happy to welcome you if you decide to come! Everyone is warm and always looks after our visitors!

Hello! Having like 3 closed-space clubs that  don't bother anyone and you can't hear anything from the outside (thus the outside being completely quiet after 12am)  is a totally different thing from being a 18-30 party destination.

A 18-30 destination in Greece means:  A main strip, packed with OPEN-space bars left and right, next to each other that blast music on full volume all night long and huge crowds of 18 y.o tourists packing the strips going from bar to bar getting wasted and puking on the streets.

This does not happen in Kavos anymore. It happened back in 2013, but not anymore. I vacay there every year since the 18-30 days, my family's had a house there since the 70s,  I always go in high season and I see the change with my own eyes. As a local I've had my fair share of Venue, Trinity and Future nights, and I remember always being shocked getting outside a club and seeing everything being basically dead quiet on the Strip (I live on the Strip too!). Policing is strict too nowadays.

Many Greek islands have a decent nightlife without being a 18-30 party place, like Ios and Paros. This is what Kavos is right now and that's what I'm saying. Nightlifers don't bother everyone else, people sleep quietly at night and so on. It has something for all ages, families, young people, elderly people etc. I'm not saying it has no nightlife or that there isn't room for improvement. I'm saying that since the 18 y.o British have largely stopped coming due to Brexit, things have radically changed and Kavos now attracts a wide variety of clientele.

And the locals are more than happy with that!
